I Made Someone Think!

Lani at TheWoodenPorch has given me a 'talk amongst yourselves' moment!  I'm all chocked up because she's tagged me as a Thinking Blogger.

Lani opened my eyes to the magic of tracking....readers, feeds, comments, etc.  She's much braver than me, though.  I lack the courage to check the number of hits my blog receives or to find out who has linked me.  I DO read comments!  And, I answer most of them, too!

IRL, I make five-year-old children think.  Just yesterday, after I read "Waiting For Wings" and expounded on the beauty of the butterfly, one of my students said, "Ms Chrissy!  I feel a sentence comin' on me!" 
Throughout the school year, we have crafted a new sentence for each unit of study.  I was bouncing in my teeny chair, thrilled that he "got it".  Immediately, six more hands flew up.  They made each other think.

Which reminds me that the BlogWorld is a giant coffeetalk/slumberparty/supportgroup/studybuddy.  My links list is soooooo looooong---each blog is worth visiting! Here are a few that deserve recognition:

1.Laced With Grace is a group devotional blog.  I don't expect that they will play the Thinking Blogger tag, but I highly recommend putting this blog on your "must read" list.  I am continuously uplifted and challenged by the writing and the message.

2.Embracing Momminess ~~This fine woman probably doesn't even know who I am!  She speaks of many things and I like that her blog is filled with informative links.

3.More Cowbell ~~I have a feeling that she's been tagged, but, of well!  I pray that NoCoolStory blogs forever!!!

4.Mom On A Wire ~~This blog has been making me think for over a year.  The writer is so honest; I have appreciated her transparency. 

5.After A Cup Of Coffee..Or Two ~~I smile every time I see the header on this blog!  Who wouldn't want to be friends with a girl who is ready to down the java?!  Check it out!
